We offer two Honeymoon Luxury Suites with Air Conditioning: The Artist Penthouse with his in-room private jacuzzi in the main bed room and The Tower House Suite with a 360° view on the resort and gulf of Bengal also equipped with a private jacuzzi. It’s a must to be in these Luxury Suites,

A/C 2 BEDROOMS HOUSES These are the best suited houses to stay with yours kids or with your family members. They all have a large lounge for late evenings and a private garden to sunbath.

A/C Luxury Suites are the best accomodations you can get at Dune. They are composed of the Artist Penthouse, 02 Artist Studios and the Pool Bungalow. Artist Studios and Pool Bungalow are offering private swimming pools in a secluded garden.

8 A/C suites are available. All these rooms are quite exceptional, due to their location or their reclaimed building architectural elements and furnitures.

All these bungalows are nature cooled. At the Dune hotel, we have built our Eco bungalows using Casuarina trees and weaved coconut palm leaf roofs. Most of our Eco bungalows are sea facing with private gardens and not far from the swimming pool on the beach front. Our Eco bungalows are fully equipped with solar water systems, low consumption bulbs and organic linen. Nature cooled have no air conditioning for environmental reasons, however, most of the time we have a refreshing sea breeze which you can enjoy from the comfort of your own private garden, lounge or terrace.

We organise private, tailor-made dinners, in beautiful settings as we are fond of creating these special unforgettable memories. Whether for a birthday, a wedding anniversary, a romantic evening or even for no reason other than to surprise a loved one, we are at your service to organize an unforgettable evening.

The Seafood Café is situated just in front our private beach and main swimming pool. Here you can enjoy a great variety of fresh seafood all whilst relaxing in the gentle ocean breeze, surrounded by palm trees and gardens. Around the cafe and spread out in the garden are small beds surrounded by flowers, making a perfect setting for a nap. All of our seafood is sourced from local fisherman, as we do our best to support the community that we live in.

F.U.N. Restaurant (Food U Need) and the Lounge are the social meeting points of the Dune, encouraging guests to interact with each other. Our Chef loves new ideas and you are welcome to learn a new recipe or even teach him a few! Feel free to speak to him for special meal requests – we always do our best to cater to your needs! Our menu combines traditional Indian and continental recipes to give you a healthy, yet sumptuous dining experience. We serve healthy, gourmet food, using vegetables straight from our organic garden. We also maintain a dairy and poultry farm as well as buying our sea-food from local fisherman. For the super health-conscious we present the hypo-toxic menu created by French biologist: Doctor Jean Seignalet. “F.U.N” Restaurant and the Lounge are the meeting points of the Dune, encouraging people to interact with each other. Residents of the Dune Eco Village and Spa can discover a wide range of activities such as wellness therapies and massages at the Spa “Chopra Healing Center”, yoga and meditation, tennis, cricket, volleyball, pottery, badminton etc. … And as we are very “family”, we offer a wide variety of activities to entertain and amuse your young childrens ..

14 km south of Dune Eco Village and Spa is Puducherry, and 8 km south you can discover Auroville, an experimental international village unique in the world. To the north is the ancient Pallava port of Mahabalipuram, famous for its magnificent temple on the shore. To the west, you can discover Gingee, an old fort. And even more to the west (50 km) Thiruvannamalai, famous city for its sacred hill called Arunachala. We can organize trips to Cuddalore, Chidambaram, Swamimalai, Karaikudi, Madurai etc … All these places offer a unique insight into Tamil culture.

The Dune has 7 acres of farm land where crop diversification is undertaken in order to produce as much as possible vegetables, pulses, rice and fruits for the Fun Restaurant and the Seafood Bar. You are most welcome to visit our Organic farm during your stay. Discover more. Click here…

In our endeavour to promote art and culture we offer “Air” an Artist in Residence program. We offer peaceful studio and living space, set in nature, for artists to nurture their creative spirit and experience with new medium.

Weddings at the Dune are a very special affair. Each wedding is specially designed using our landscaped garden, our bungalows, our restaurants and our 2 antique Mandapa.
